2021 installation, different materials, dimensions variable
Opera multimediale in cui emerge la forte attitudine dell’artista ad ibridare i vari linguaggi utilizzati, partendo dalla ricerca scultorea in cui la forma diviene spazio e luce attraverso la creazione di un tunnel ottagonale di nove metri dove lo spettatore viene immerso in uno spazio etereo con una forte estetica futurista; l’attività elettrica di stupende piante tropicali genera immagini in movimento accompagnate da suoni ancestrali e forti vibrazioni, questi ultimi sperimentati in collaborazione con il compositore Marco Malasomma. Async nasce da una riflessione sul rapporto asincronico tra uomo e natura cercando di ribaltare la prospettiva antropocentrica e dal bisogno di creare uno spazio “altro” capace di strappare almeno un attimo al quotidiano, in questo presente assolutistico, sterile, alienante per condurre ad un risveglio magico attraverso la ricerca del fantastico.

“Async” was born from a reflection on the asynchronous relationship between man and nature to try to overturn the anthropocentric perspective and create a space capable of
snatching a moment from everyday life, in this absolutistic, sterile, alienating present to lead to a magical awakening through the search of fantastic.
